After a turbulent year it seems the very fabric of the property market has been stretched, tested and re-bore revealing a new set of contours. The press, whilst having a field day, are an ever potent force that can bend perceptions of reality. This, only proven it seems, by the last years tumultuous events. This is no different when it comes to property, and like the famous saying goes, the map is not the territory. The only way of truly knowing is to get out on to the ground.
