Central Fulham North

This row of tree-lined streets, home to a mix of flats and substantial family houses, normally comes either first or second (after Parsons Green) on the wish list of Fulham buyers.

The neighbourhood

There’s a wide range of property here, from the beautiful semi-detached ‘villas’ on the East side of Lilyville Road, to the flats on Rostrevor Road and Radipole Road. In general the houses are slightly larger than those in Parsons Green (with the exception of the Lion houses in the Peterborough Estate) and can reach up to 3000 sq ft with basement.

The area

Fulham Road itself is the focus of the action – with its cafes, restaurants and bus routes – but Parsons Green is also very nearby. This really is the heart of residential Fulham and has some of the most sought after roads in the area, in terms of value, size and quality

Fulham text

Parsons Green District line tube station provides quick links to the rest of London and there are numerous bus routes running along New Kings Road and Fulham Road.

The green is a great spot for a stroll or picnic in the sun, as is Eelbrook Common. The river and the Thames Path is not far away and if you’re into rock climbing, there’s a fantastic bouldering wall in the small business park near the tube station.

Lady Margaret girl’s school is a highly regarded school right on the green and the London Oratory boy’s school is also nearby. There are various independent schools nearby including Kensington Prep school.

A good mix of cafes, basrs and restaurants can be found on Parsons Green Lane and New Kings Road including the popular Bayley & Sage delicatessen and the famous (or infamous) White Horse pub at the northern end of the green. Brik’s home is also also here, right next to the White Horse pub.
