Fulham Park Gardens
This small cluster of roads, squeezed between Fulham Road and New Kings Road, lies just to the West of Fulham High Street, once the centre of Fulham.
The neighbourhood
The area has a wide range of property including mansion blocks, flats and large detached and semi-detached houses. It’s the only place in Fulham other than the Peterborough Estate where you can buy one of the ‘Lion Houses’ built by developer Jimmy Nichols in 1900.
This area is also home to Burlington House (now Burlington Lodge Studios), which was purchased by the government in 1885 and turned into a women’s prison before being demolished in 1895.

The close proximity of the underground station at Putney Bridge (District Line, Zone 2), Bishops Park and historic Fulham Palace all contribute towards this area’s status. You can walk across the bridge to Putney and it's a short walk to Parsons Green too. Bishops Park and Fulham Palace are also on your doorstep (almost) and if you';'re lucky enough to be a member of the Hurlingham Club, that is only a short stroll away.

Parsons Green District line tube station provides quick links to the rest of London and there are numerous bus routes running along New Kings Road and Fulham Road.
Leisure
The green is a great spot for a stroll or picnic in the sun, as is Eelbrook Common. The river and the Thames Path is not far away and if you’re into rock climbing, there’s a fantastic bouldering wall in the small business park near the tube station.
Schools
Lady Margaret girl’s school is a highly regarded school right on the green and the London Oratory boy’s school is also nearby. There are various independent schools nearby including Kensington Prep school.
Local amenities
A good mix of cafes, basrs and restaurants can be found on Parsons Green Lane and New Kings Road including the popular Bayley & Sage delicatessen and the famous (or infamous) White Horse pub at the northern end of the green. Brik’s home is also also here, right next to the White Horse pub.
