Without alienating one space from another she has successfully managed to design each room within this Fulham Victorian period home having its own unique mix of contemporary features and warm character. The spaces are balanced cleverly to allow them to sit both together as a whole and stand separately as individuals, and it is this juxtaposition that makes the house seem like there’s a whole lot more to it and hence even larger than it actually is. This is amplified further by a stream of light that connects through all the ground floor rooms flowing from a six meter long skylight. A refreshing take on the use of interior design working symbiotically with architecture.

Crowned with an original 1950’s Murano glass chandelier from southern Italy and a glass balustrade the stairwell transports natural light down into the basement below.
