Introduced seven years ago, the flat-pack Sandwich-bike has gone into production in December. 45 minutes is all it takes to put together this bike and is as easy as making a sandwich.
45 minutes is all it takes to put together this bike, says PedalFactory, and it is as easy as making a sandwich (hence its name). Additionally, the bike was beautifully designed, made from weatherproofed beech plywood panels held together with milled aluminum cylinders. The bicycle sits on 26 inch wheels and weighs 17 kilograms. All packed in a box of no more than 94 x 70 x 24 cm. Available online for €799 / £670 at sandwichbikes.com.
