The year is approximately AD175 and Marcus Aurelius, Roman emperor and the last of the “Five Good Emperors” is writing his memoirs. Much can be gleamed from his works which have been studied and poured over by people throughout the centuries, including us.

We thought we’d leave you with one quote which seems to encapsulate his philosophy: “Control your arrogance. Stop getting angry with stupid and unpleasant people. Be upright, modest, straight forward and cooperative. Above all, strive to make yourself a better person”.
